Bond Construction was incorporated in 1993 in Denver. Its primary goal is to do residential remodeling projects including additions, extensive remodeling, basements, kitchens and bathrooms for homeowners in the Denver metro area as design & build or build only. Bond Construction’s other goal is to do investment projects when feasible and it has built three spec custom homes between 2003 and 2008 in the Denver Southeast area. Lastly Bond Construction can do office fit-out projects.

Prior to starting Bond Construction, Michael De Seguin worked eleven years with SAE (now Eiffage), a large international construction group, in France, Australia and Houston, as a project manager and manager, with experience in large construction projects.  Michael holds a building supervisor B Denver license and a real estate broker license with the Brokers Guild.

Michael has enjoyed living in Colorado since 1993. He likes to do age-group triathlons, and has been married 25 years to Suzan, who works as an attorney.

Bond Construction carries General Liability Insurance, gives free estimates and gives a full one year warranty.

We are a very small company and we like to provide personalized service as best as we can to few customers and w
e do residential remodeling and additions work, often as design & build projects.

We build one custom home every one to two years.  On our Portfolio page you can look at visual tours of two houses we built. We can design and build your home on a property you own and also help you buy /exchange/ sell a property. Michael has a real estate license and has done investment projects in the Denver metro area, which he knows well.

We do consulting  work: Michael, originally a building engineer,  has worked in different areas of construction for 27 years, has been the owner of Bond Construction for 16 years and is well equipped to provide personalized service and help you in your construction project.

DESIGN & BUILD usually involves three phases:

1. Conception drawings (schematics) and rough estimates which allow the owners to examine feasibility, options and precise their objectives.

2. Detailed construction drawings and price commitment which include all necessary details and engineering to get permits and build.

3. Build

This three phase approach allows better control over the project by the owners, a smooth process, and value engineering. Owners control the process and it is their choice to decide or not to go the next phase. Both conception and construction drawings are done on a CAD system, allowing the owners to visualize the project with 3D views and review designs directly on their computers (pdf files)

We advise the owners to spend time on the design process. Best compromises and ideas often do not come to mind right away and changes made after construction starts most often involve inefficiencies, delays and costs issues.
